I built Luna because I was spending way too much money eating out 😅

I tried a lot of budgeting apps on the market but they were either way too automated (and the money would already be spent by the time I opened the app) OR they were too complicated.

So I decided to build my own.

The app has 2 core principles:

1. It is purposely very manual (for your own good)
2. Really good UI and design so the you don't mind it being so manual (and hopefully gets you to stick with it)

And that's the main reason the app exists today!

A second reason is its a passion project for me to get better as a developer and a designer. You can actually check out my very first YouTube video announcing the app and see that even today the intention of the app is exactly the same.
